The National Trial Advocacy College begins a new chapter in its distinguished history as it relocates to William & Mary Law School in August 8–12, 2026. After 43 years at the University of Virginia School of Law, this move marks a significant evolution in the program’s legacy of excellence and innovation in trial advocacy education.

If you are a practicing lawyer who wants to be a confident, collected, and successful advocate, we invite you to experience the dynamic program has changed the careers and lives of thousands of lawyers in the last four decades.

Through the College’s unique combination of expert lectures, small-group training, and realistic trial simulations, participants will:

  • Receive the most intensive hands-on advocacy training possible.

  • Learn from daily presentations and captivating demonstrations by the finest trial lawyers and judges in the nation.

  • Practice every day with a small group of lawyers with similar experience.

  • Complete the week by trying an entire case in a mock trial.

  • Leave the program prepared to persuade and argue any aspect of a case at any phase of the litigation.
